Fresh installation of Windows XP integrated with SP2 fails with this
message:

A problem has been detected and windows has been shut down to prevent damage
to your computer.
DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL
If this is the first time.......

I have even replaced the CD with a new one from the supplier, but still the
same thing happens even on the new CD.

On the same computer I'm trying to install from the new CD, Windows XP
Professional and Windows XP Professional with SP1 installs and works fine.
But I'm trying to install Windows XP SP2 because of the lot of spyware, and
viruses which antivirus and antispyware programs fail to clean. I need
Windows XP SP2's improved firewall, and additional security features such as
blocking users from executing .exe files from locations which are not
trusted. The spywares and Viruses cannot be cleaned even with the latest
virus definitions of Norton Antivirus 2005.

Please help me with this problem.

I'm working in an environment which has a lot of PCs... and I really need a
solution to this. But right now, I want to shield infected PCs with the
latest service pack from Microsoft.

Shafiee.

Hi,

Just wanted to tell you that the same CD worked in 2 other PCS. But it won't
work in my own PC.
If anyone found a way around this problem please let me know. I tried
searching www.microsoft.com and came with nothing. All I found out is that
it has something to do with a "kernal" processor or something.

Shafiee.
