Disk 1 - Win 98 & Win 2000, Disk 2 - Win XP?

I currently have Windows 98SE (C:) and Windows 2000 (D:) on a disk and
both work fine.

I am considering introducing Windows XP into the mix, and I'm not sure
there is enough space on the first disk. I have another disk on which
the backups are copied, and occasional partitions "ghosted".

My question, is whether I could install Windows XP on this second disk
(G:)?
If yes, is there a guide I could be pointed to?

While I am at it, I have read conflicting advice about installing
applications over those on a different OS (e.g. MS Office is already on
Win 2000 (D:), so reinstall MS Office on Win XP in the same location on
D:). What is the current thinking about this?

You should have mentioned the size of the drives and partitons in question.
Nowadays 100+Gb harddrives are cheap so you may want to invest in something
larger first.

You can boot from the XP CD and install it so that you have a multi-boot
configuration and SE, 2K, and XP would appear on a boot menu.

Any programs you are running under either SE or 2K would have to be
reinstalled under XP in their own folders, not in folders common to the
three installations.

I have XP Pro with Office XP and other stuff on a 32Gb disk and it is about
50% full so you should have enough space.
