Anybody knows how to do this?, I'm in the point where I can't continue my
reinstallation and at least will like to rollback to my system's previous
state.
Any help is greatly appreciated

Note:
It would be easier to make a new Windows XP CD with SP2
"slipstreamed", then perform a "Repair Install".
Either one of the following utilities makes slipstreaming
(integrating) SP2 into Windows XP a breeze:
