Carey,

I have a similar problem but on a Windows Server 2003 Standard, machine was
already built up when I started here and is the PDC. I noticed this invalid
product ID when trying to install Server SP1.

I cannot rebuild the server as it is the PDC and Mail Server.

I have since starting here acquired a legal version of the server software.

Am I able to update the product ID so as to install SP1 without having to
rebuild or reinstall applications.

Thanks

Victor
