I have Windows 2000 Advanced Servers as DC's with Windows 2000 Pro clients.
I have just introduced XP Pro clients on the domain. It takes 2 logons
before a predefined desktop & folder redirection from Group Policy takes
effect. I have enabled in Group Policy Computer Config>Administrative
Templates>System>Logon>Always wait for the network at computer startup and
logon.
After the 2nd logon of the user, the correct desktop appears & all group
policy is in effect.
