virus scan HELP!

:confused: Hi just joined this forum today to see if anyone kind enough
can help :(

The clicking noise indicates hardware problems, probably a failing hard
drive. Get a diagnostic utility from the drive mftr.'s website. Usually
you will download the file and make a bootable floppy with it. Boot
with the media and do a thorough test. If the drive has physical
errors, replace it. There is no point in messing about with trying to
clean up a virus on a failing hardware.
