With WXP Home Edition and Service Pack 2 installed I cannot restore my
system to an earlier date. I want to do this to correct a problem I have
with IE not allowing me to view secure pages. Suggest setting for my IE
connection! Or, how to reconnect?Thanks!

You didn't give us enough information about what happens when you try to
do a System Restore to get specific troubleshooting advice on that

Regarding not being able to get to secure sites, first try this:

Start>Run cmd [enter]
iexplore.exe /rereg [enter]
