When I attempt to slipstream windows fix 887472 for Windows Media Center 2005
or even Windows XP Professional it fails. This is the log I get. When I
install the patch through update or through SMS, or through scripting it
works. I cannot find any reference on the knowledge base for this. The
machine is Windows XP Media Center Edition with service pack 2 integrated
from Microsoft, and as I noted the patch KB887472 installs through normal
means later.

As far as I can surmise from the log, it is effectly saying it is not
compatible with SP2, but later it installs with SP2. So it seems like there
is a branch error.

Does anyone know more of this issue?
