My "Friend" thought it would be funny to save two porno sites to my
Favorites List. I'm running XP Home Ed. I have tried to eliminate the two
shortcuts everyway I know how but evidently it writes a new shortcut
everytime I try to delete it. The following have not worked: 1. Deleting in
IE Favorites. 2. Go to Hard drive and delete. 3. Used Disk Clean Up and then
Disk Defrag. If I need edit the registry, where do I look? Also- none of my
anti-virus,spam blocker, Reg. Clean software pick it up. Thanks!

new links for you you might want to down laod this utility and see if this
help get rid of the bugger
http://www.microsoft.com/athome/security/spyware/software/default.mspx
this will kill all spy ware apps or at least most of them

Thank you for the help! The Beta utility found that my IE software settings
had been hijacked. It deleted an unwelcome home page as well. ( about:
blank), a search home page .
