Java Script and Cookies

I cannot seem to access any sort of java programs on my computer. Everything
is up to date, I have allowed files to run on my computer (as many posts say
to do). I have allowed cookies, etc. But I still can't access java. All I
want to do is link my AIM screen name and use my online wedding registries,
and now my computer is so frustrating that it makes me want to throw it out
of the window. Help, please!

you would probably do better to ask in a group related to the browser you
are using. also note that javascript and java are two very different
things... and neither one requires cookies, which are yet again a very
different thing than either of the javas.

Kristin - Do you have Java installed? It is not clear from your post. If
you do, try uninstalling/reinstalling.

What makes you think Java is involved? Please explain what "link my
AIM..." means. Link to what?
