Does anyone know how to put serveral pictures on the desktop at once.
I can put up a single picture but I want to put up 9 pictures together.

Use a picture editor to create the 'montage'.. then save it as one file..

If you know how to create an html page with multiple images positioned
within its boundaries, you could set as your desktop in Display> Desktop>
Customize> Web.

Otherwise, use a graphics program (you'll need something a little more
advanced than MS Paint). Create a large blank image. Paste the other images
into it. Arrange them to your liking. Save this composite as a single file.
May want to read up on "optimizing" files so that the file size isn't
humongous. Then use that new single file as your wallpaper.

Thanks Mike and Sharon. both of you were helpful but only gave me another
obstacle. I don't know how to creat a montage or an HTML page.
My dear little nephew want 9 pictures of Matalica on his desktop and I told
him I would find out how.
Now I have to find out how to tell him.
Thank you both, this is over my head i guess

How about a Metallica screensaver for your nephew instead of wallpaper? On
his computer, place the pictures into a folder. Then set the screen saver
by right clicking on the desktop, choose Properties. On the screen that
appears, click the Screensaver tab and then click on My Pictures Slideshow
and Apply.

Next click the Settings button. Another screen appears. Towards the middle
are the words "use pictures in this folder." Either type the path to the
folder of Metallica pictures or click the Browse button and use the window
that appears to select the folder.

Click OK a few times. The next time that the screensaver engages, it will
cycle through the saved Metallica pictures.
