This is what I have to do every time I start up. Or waiting about 20 minutes
also works. Otherwise, I cannot access the Internet. My ISP tells me nothing
is wrong at their end, so it must be my XP-SP2. Funny though, when I connect
in a hotel room the high speed connection is immediate. Ideas?

Describe your connection & modem you have at home?
Sounds like a bad network cable / connector / port.
