My computer does not move past the windows xp boot page and may very well
have a virus. I am aware that there exists a list of commands that can be
used in MSDOS to implement system restore (manually) to a previous date. Are
these commands readily available?

Thanks,
Steve

Hi Steve,

You will find the instruction you are looking for on the following web
page, at the bottom. Some viruses us System Restore as a hiding place,
so if you can boot to Safe Mode you may want to run a virus scan from
there before using SR.
