I have some VERY large files in a folder with the path name:
c:\documents and settings\beth\Local Settings\TEMP

Are these files that can be deleted?

Everything in a "Temp" file can be safely deleted.
Reboot first to help be sure the files are not in use.

In general they can but just to be safe, you might want to move them to
another folder first. If everything works okay, you can probably delete them.
I delete all the files in that folder regularly on all the PCs in the office.

Hey, thanks for the quick response. I'm trying to get a little more room on
my hard drive. I will try moving them and then rebooting too. I sure hope
this works!! Thanks again

Hi Bethg7,

Here are few more ways to save disk space.

Right clicking on the IE icon on the desktop and pick properties then
"Delete Files" to empty the files in the folder under Content.IE5.
Only the Cookies will remain.

The amount of disk space Temporary Internet file use can also be
limited by right clicking on the IE icon on the desktop and picking
properties. On the General tab click on setting. Adjust there.

The amount of disk space can also be reduced. 1gb is a good starting
size.
How to Adjust the amount of disk space System Restore uses
