I have two WinXP boxes and one Linux box. I can access the files from
the LINUX box but not from the WinXP boxes.
Evry time time I try it, it tells to use a password which I do and a
user name. I've used to computer's name the user's name
I updated the Samba files to not avail. Thanks

Did you create a samba user and password using smbpasswd on the linux
computer? Did you include a share for that user in smb.conf?
