Hi,
I have a laptop and two PC's that i need networked. The laptop has no
wireless capabilities, only ethernet, and the two PC's have a Belkin Pre-N
Desktop Card. In terms of signal there is no problem although the connection
is very unreliable and often cuts out.
The way the network is setup at the moment is the laptop os connected to an
SMC broadband router/modem and then the two PC's connect to the router via
the wireless links. The laptop is running Wondows 2000, one PC is running XP
Home Edition and th eother XP Professional Edition.
The main problem is the constant disconnections from the internet, the
inability to view shared files on another computer and slow download speeds
(as I have a 2Mb Service).
If anyone can help this would be greatly appreciated.
