Windows Firewall Options "Grayed Out"

I'm trying to configure Windows Firewall on my XP SP2 box. "On" and "Off"
are grayed out, and there's a message at the top that says "For your
security, some settings are controlled by Group Policy." How do I change
things so I can control Windows Firewall myself? This is a small home
network.

Thanks in advance.

If the machine is not part of a domain, then you can use GPEdit.msc and
modify the ComputerConfiguration > Administrative Tepmlates > Network >
Network Connections > Windows Firewall Group Policy Settings.

If you are joined to the domain, then the Group Policy settings may be on
the Domain Controller or in the local Group Policy
