We were working on a Windows XP Pro machine yesterday with just SP1 on. We
moved to SP2 before the broadband supplier said they could not use their
connection with SP2 installed.
We rolled this back, but when trying to connect to a dialup connection or
broadband, it keeps reporting an error 720 when trying to register the
computer on the connection. All other PCs can dialup correctly to these
accounts, just this PC.
I reinstalled the SP2 as we are to change broadband suppliers, and this
still generates the error.
How can we fix this error?
