I have a Dell 700m with an Intel Pro wirless LAN mini PCI adapter. I can
usually connect to wireless networks wherever I travel but I often can not
connect to the internet. It seems that if I have to log in, everything is
fine. But if I'm at a cyber cafe (eg Java Joe) I can not connect. I get a
line saying detecting proxy settings and then the classic screen "cannot
connect to URL".
Any ideas?
