I have a laptop of Acer 290E travel mate.How do i activate the bluetooth?I
want to use for my handphone?Need any extra software?

Andromeda,
I looked at the specs for that notebook and didn't see Bluetooth listed
as one.
Connectivity 802.11b/g WLAN, 10/100 LAN, V.92 modem

You could buy a Bluetooth PC Card adapter for a Type II card.
