[ace_caz]

I have been trying for sometime to sep up home network to the laptop, both
computer are telling me that i have connection but i still cant access the
web. i dont think i set the puters up correctly, i really do need some help,
i am not very good at this stuff. both puters are xp home. and im using
crossover cables, main connection is with pipex.

anyone have any ideas!?

Will need some more info. What type internet connection do you have? Is it
connected directly to one of the computers or are you using a LAN with
router? Does each computer have a unique identity and the same workgroup
name? Are you using WinXP's Internet Connection sharing?
