Ok, heres the setup:
USB Hard drive goes into usb port on the back of my asus wireless router.
Router configures as FTP - I map it as a networked drive and can easily
access it in internet explorer.
Heres the thing: I use Itunes, Jriver media centre - no matter which one.
From these I can open MP3 files from the mapped wireless FTP drive. BUT I
cannot open more than 1 file at a time, and more crucially I cannot add all
the files on the drive to my media library!
The FTP drive is mapped as a network drive, but it will not fully act as if
it were a true hard drive. i.e I cannot open multiple files and cannot import
a raft of files into my media library in one go.
Any explanations, application work arounds greatly welcomed.
Thanks in advance...
