On my 2003 domain my XP SP2 laptops are not seen under Entire
Network\Microsoft Windows Network...

The laptops can see the PCs (PCs are also XP SP2) and everyone can ping each
other and browse to each other.

Jeff,

Please explain "laptops are not seen" and "everyone can ... browse to each
other". Can everyone browse to the laptops too, or does everyone only include
the desktops?

I'll bet you have either a firewall problem on the laptops, or a browser
conflict. Run browstat on both laptops, and on two or three desktops too, and
compare the results.
