I am trying to setup an ftp server with xp pro sp2. I am using a Linksys Dsl
router and I have setup the port forwarding. I have gone in to the windows
firewall exceptions and allowed port 21. I have iis 5.1 setup in the ftp
folder to run on 192.168.1.100 port 21 which is what my router is going to
forward it to. I go to the www.net2ftp.com and try it and it will not
connect. Need some help. Thanks

Where are you when you go to www.net2ftp.com. If you are doing this from
your XP SP2 machine or some other machine on your internal network, it
probably won't work. From inside the network try ftp://192.168.1.100. From
outside the network try ftp://YourPublicIP
