Enable Internet Connection Sharing on the laptop's wireless
connection. This setting is in the Advanced tab of the connection's
Properties.

Connect the laptop's wired Ethernet connection to the hub, and make
sure that the connection is enabled and the hub is turned on. If
there's a network bridge, right-click and delete it.

Then try ICS again.

ok i gave that a try and no luck but when i looked at the local area
connections TCP/IP propertys everythink was on automatic so i tryed to input
the address and DSN settings in my self, not knowing how to do it i ramdomly
put any numbers in and the error message went away but i i couldnt still get
my PS2 to connect. i know it is possible because ive done it before by
messing about with all the internet settings but i cant remember how it do it
again because when i was finnished using it last time i had to change them
back so i could use the internet cable in my living room for a faster
conncetion. i only use the wireless when im not in the living room. if your
are wondering why dont i just plug the main internet cable to the ps2 in the
living room i cant. due to i live with my parents. hope you can help
