Can't ping XP SP workstation

My PC is running Windows XP Pro SP2 (firewall turned off) and is part of an
NT domain. It gets its network config from DHCP. I am able to access all
network resources without any problems however other PC's can't access
resources on my PC. I have File and Printer Sharing installed. I am not
even able to ping my PC from other PCs on the network. I can ping other PCs
from mine though. I must be overlooking something simple.

Still sounds like a firewall on your machine blocking things.
I'm 99.9999999% certain of that.

If the XP firewall is off, then look for another firewall.
Any Internet security softawre running?

How about VPN client software?
This often has a firewall lurking in it.

Bingo! My Cisco VPN Client had it's firewall turned on. This also
resolved a problem I've had with another application on this PC for
several weeks. Thanks much for you help Ron!
