I have a question, recently a few months ago, I whenever I plug my ethernet
cable into my computer connection, there are yellow dots that go back and
forth across the network ICONS. These yellow dots havent appeared before.
What are these yelllow dots that have not appeared before?

This indicator is part of Windows XP Service Pack 2 and indicates that the
network connection is attempting to automatically obtain an IP address from
the network.
