Has anyone experienced being disconnected (WindowsXP SP2 - Tiscali Broadband)
only to find that in connect to the connection icon disappearing, coming back
then vanishing completly?

I then have to go through the connection wizard to get back on line.
Sometimes I can be online for ages other times I get disconnected and my icon
erased.

I have Norton and scanned for viruses. Ad-aware and Torjan remover so my
machine appears to be clean.

Tiscali advise reformat hard drive. I'm beginning to think they might be
right?
