[Nostromo]

Hello all,

All of a sudden Movie Maker won't save in any other format except DV-AVI the
.... the largest file type ! If I try to save in any WMV format the save bar
hangs at 2% and the timer just gets higher and higher ... any thoughts would
be appreciated :)

ps: I have MM 2.1, service pack 2 on XP Media Center 2005, 3.4 Gig P4 and
500 GB of storage.

OK I figured out my own mistake. I took stock of my clip and realized that I
had three 2x speed effects on the first 34 clips (hehe I was getting a little
cute there :) ) for over a hundred effects in the first 1:34, let alone all
the other transitions, effects, MP3's and titles after that ... can you say
"too complex to render" ? I thought you could ... LOL

As my friend mentioned abone, check that your video is not chocked up with
transitions, effects e.tc.

Try to save a small video which has no transitions subtitles and effects
(just the video), to see what will happen

If the problem remains, check if you havent lost the Windows Media 9 codec...
