that's the Movie Maker project file... you need to open that in Movie Maker
and then save a movie from it, which will play in WMP.

=======================================
..mwsmm is project file...to save it as a playable
movie...try the following...

Re-open the file in Movie Maker and go to...
File / Save Movie File / My Computer / Next /
enter a file name and a save location / Next /
tick...Best for playback on my computer / Next...

Now you should have a .wmv file that you can
play in Windows Media Player..
