Most of my research shows that the problems due to this error (STOP 0x03c)
are due to faulty hardware, bugs in device drivers or incompatible hardware.

So, without a little more info it'd be hard to try and sort this out. First
thing, tho, is to check all your connections on everything (RAM, PCI cards,
AGP card, CPU, Power supply connections, IDE and SATA connections, floppy and
CD connections, hard drive connections, etc). Next step is to make sure that
you've got all the updated drivers for all of your components (to include the
BIOS and motherboard drivers) - choose the WHQL certified drivers, if
possible, since they're certified to work with Windows.
