Hi I recorded some video over the weekend on a sony DVD camcorder. The
files are .mpg (Mpeg 2 presumably) When I open them I can get audio but
no video. On another computer I was able to get video but no audio then
the program would freeze. What am I doing wrong? What do I need to do
different or what do I need to install? Previously it would work fine -
video and audio would import into the timeline without any problem...

You're not dong anything wrong... the MPEG-2 files don't usually work in
Movie Maker so converting them to AVI files first is needed..
