Hi, I have a Windows XP Professional system and I'm having trouble with the
account. When I open my computer it always log on the administrator profile
(even if I created other users) ... How can I just open my computer on the
habitual "welcome screen".
Thanks a lot

Camille,
Looks like the system is configured to automatically login as Administrator.
To clear the auto-logon settings, use these steps:
Click Start, and then click Run. In the Open box, type control
userpasswords2, and then click OK. In the dialog box that appears, enable
Users must enter a user name and password to use this computer check box,
and then click OK.
Restart Windows, and you'll see the Welcome Screen at startup.

But Camille, he is enquring for typical windows logon with welcome screen
and the user name shown. Configuring how to log on with "control
userpasswords2" is another matter, newbee hardly knows its and have no use
for it (That's why Microsoft hide it from us).... or may be his prob is
diferent issue.

Yes. Hence my response.

Please read my post again. My post was not to set an auto-logon, but for
clearing the auto-logon credentials.
