I am capturing analog video to my comptuer via S video. But when I capture
the video there is no sound.

This may be a bit simplistic
I have a TV capture card and the sound out on the card needs to be connected
to the line in on the sound card. Then the sound set to capture from the
sound card line in????

Correct.
S Video does only what the name implies, it only transfers Video.
