Picture Duration

The picture duration should be 5 seconds per the Tools->Option->Advanced
field, although the duration is at 4 seconds when playing. The Transition
Duration is set at 1.25 seconds...does this shorten the picture duration?
Also, now that I have all my pictures in the storyboard, in order...is there
a way to change from 5 seconds to longer? I tried under
Tools->Option->Advanced...but no luck.
Thanks in advance!

Once in the project storyboard/timeline, each of the clips has to adjusted
individually. And yes, if you don't consider the transition part of the
duration, then the duration is shortened to contribute to it.

Basically a one second transition will overlap the 2 clips shortening each
by half a second that about right?

exactly... I guess it depends on how you do your counting.... what's the end
of a clip? when it starts fading or going away in a transition, or when it's
totally gone? I subscribe to it having to be totally gone.

I would agree except that in many cases with transitions the next one starts
before the first one ends.
I choose not to count at all, less headache :)
