So I'm a noob and having much trouble with my XP clean installation.
When I try to install windows through the normal windows installation
setup, I get the error:
The following value in the .SIF file used by Setup is corrupted or
missing:
Value 0 on the line in section [SourceDiskFiles] with key "SP2.cab"
Setup cannot continue. To quit Setup, press F3
So I then tried booting straight off of the CD and now I get the
error:
NTDETECT Failed
and it just restarts the computer after that. Everything's messed up,
somebody help me please
p.s. I also tried some people's suggestions from other forums to go
into repair and do fixboot etc. And none of that works.
