I am trying to import a video file into Windows Movie Maker, on Windows XP,
file size 1.25Gb, but get the following message: -

C:\"file location"\1962.mpg could not be imported. An interface has too many
methods to fire events from.

Any clues as to the problem and can it be overcome.

It's an MPEG-2 file that needs to be converted to AVI before importing...
see the Importing Source Files > Video > MPEG-2 page of my website.
