Dont you just love computers? :-) Well, I cant imagine what could have
cause this to happen, I had a weird windows experience which i can
relate to this.

I had setup a small network between me and my bro he could see my files
but it said i didn't have the right to see his, even though i could see
them in the network list. To make it even more bizarre and even more of
a mystery after a while 1 or 2 of my folders wouldn't let him in saying
he didn't have the right (security wise) to view those resources.

I know you can setup all kinds of fun things to stop people from seeing
your stuff, but I had never touched anything! After a reinstall of XP (I
hate having to fix a problem doing this, its so newbish, but it works
when you cant find the answer to the problem after searching for
MONTHS!) It never caused the same problem again.

Though i could suggest this to you, make a backup of all your important
stuff, on a seperate partition if you dont got a hard drive, and then
re-install if you cant find the answer to your problem. Good luck, let
me know what happens.
