I have video from the samd event on 2 different tapes. Is there a way to get
them into one collection?

Hi Westpix,
Yes there's a way. You'll have to capture both of the videos to your hard
drive. Then import both videos into MM and do your editing. First, open up
one of the videos to get started. When you want to get video from the 2nd
video, just switch collections and drag 'n drop the frames to the
storyboard.
Hope this helps,
Newtechie

Well Newtechie's answer is correct if that was the question you were asking
but I think the answer you want is that yes you can get them in the same
collection.
After capturing and importing, as Newtechie says, then click the
"Collections" button. The left pane will show your collections. Click on one
and the right pane will show the video or the split clips (depending on
whether or not the clip was split). If you click and drag that clip you can
move it to any of the collections you want to place it in the left pane.
You can then click on the empty collection and press the "DELETE" key to get
rid of the unneeded collection.

Thanks Wojo for the extra clarification. I was answering by memory.
