Can no longer open these files. Suggests to create and association which in
fact is already there and does't work!? Still can't open these files in
e-mail. Any thoughts? Thanks. Dee

Are you using Outlook Express?
If so, I would start by checking the Security setting.
Go to Tools > Options > Security (tab)
See if the following check box is checked.
"Do not allow attachments to be saved or opened that could potentially be a
virus."
