audio problems with MovieMaker

Can someone please help me? How can I get MovieMaker to synchronize the
audio and movie? Everytime I play back the movie on the storyboard the
pictures and the sound (of the actual clip) play at different times. If you
watch it the people on the clip's lips are moving but the sound is playing
something else...you know what I mean?

What file type is it? MM does not work well with mpegs, use dv-avi or wmv in
preference

This website can help with just about any file conversions you could
possibly need to do:
http://www.videohelp.com/convert
You tell them what you want to convert from/to and they will give you all
the necessary information to do so along with a list of programs (some free
some not) that can do the job.
