I uploaded a video from my digital camera. It will not seek in windows media
player and it gives me an unknown error on all of the clips after the first
in windows movie maker. Is there a program where I can convert this file
into something I can work with or any way to make this possible?

What type of file is it? If you don't know, what's the camera brand and
model?

Brooks,
MOST video formats can be translated into others...there are many free or
low cost programs to do this...if your digital camera creates .mov files, you
can use GOOGLE to search for the phrase "mov to avi" (AVI being a format that
WMM can work with) to find applications that will translate your files...if
the camera's files are in a different format than .mov, then substitute that
format's file extension in your google search (the file extension is the
typically 3 letters after the period in the name of the file, for example
myfile.mov)

Results vary as to the success and/or quality of the final output when
translating...if you tell us what brand/model camera and which format of
video files you're starting with, maybe some of the gurus here will have some
more definitive suggestions of worthy applications to do the
translating....GOOD LUCK!
