Poor video quality

I have captured a video from my Sony DCR PC109 Digital Handy cam, using my
USB interface. When I Saved it as a DVD, the picture quality is very
grainy/blurry. How can I fix this? I have read elsewhere that I should
capture using the "Digital Device Format (DV-AVI)" choice, but that option is
not available when I get to that screen (its there but grayed out). What can
I do? I'm sure I should be able to creat DVD's of much higher quality.
Thanks,
Steve

You need to use a firewire interface in order to capture as DV-AVI. USB won't
give you the quality you want

Thanks, now I have to install a firewire port....the process is far more
complicated then it should be.
