CD on dvd player, the picture are too blurry. I am using High quality
pictures froma 6MP digicam and picture format is JPEG. but still the output
was blurry and experienced quality loss.
Can somebody give me any workaround, how to fix it?

Thanks

I memorized my slide show on a CD-RW & it plays on my computer but I can't
get it to play on my DVD on the TV. Should I memorize it on a DVD?

You should save your story as a WMV movie in a folder on your computer. Then
use a "DVD Authoring" software such as following to make a DVD Movie from
the WMV you saved.

Nero Vision Express
Ulead Movie Factory
Sonic MyDVD

How does it look like when the CD displayed on PC ? Normally, Nero
would bring out a satisfactory result.

Or you can try the following tool which can convert your photos to
slideshow and have its own built-in burning program.

Hope it help

I am having similar problems- I have created a slide show with music with
Windows Movie Maker. My goal was to burn it to a CD to play in a DVD player.
It will not even burn onto a CD. I know someone who has been successful doing
this and playing it in a DVD player. Now...can I transfer my Movie Maker
Slide Show to either my ULEAD Movie Factory or Sonic Solutions? How do I
merge Movie Maker to the Sonic Solutions? How difficult is it? Or do I have
to start all over. It has taken me 4 weeks to complete my project...my
deadline is this Friday! Nowt won't burn! HELP!!

Ladies (June and Nita)

Latest version of "Nero Vision Express" can make a DVD Video from a Windows
Media Video (WMV) file. So you dont need any other application if you have
latest full version of nero.

First save your project as a movie: use menu File -> "Save MOVIE As", or
press key Ctrl-P, or use the "Save to my computer" under "Finish Movie" step
on the left hand task bar.

In the Save Movie wizard, first screen allows you to select a name for the
saved movie and the next screen is "Movie Settings". For a slideshow made
using mainly still pictures the default is good enough. However if you click
on "Show more options...", you will have all the other different options to
select.

( If your source files are mainly dv video captured in dv avi format then
you should save now in DV AVI as well. Ths can be selected from the drop
down box.)

Complete the remaining steps.

Afterwards run Nero Vision Express to make a DVD video. Note Nero *Vision*
Express is different from Nero Express. The latter is just a different skin
to the main disk burning application. it cannot make a DVD Video. If you do
not have Nero Vision express then get it from following location:
http://ww2.nero.com/enu/nero-up.php (Update Package 2)

For tutorials of using NeroVision Express, see this support site of nero:

The Slides show with titles & sound & slides plays great on my pc. I can't
believe MSWMM does not burn a cd or dvd that will play on a dvd for TV. What
good is the program??? If it can't do that? ProshowGold puts it on a CD for
TV. Unfortunately I have created my program on WMM.

I downloaded 3 updates from Nero yesterday & it looks like I have
Nero Vision Espress 3 file name NVE 3.1.0.11.exe I also downloaded
Nero 6 Ultra Edition Mayor Update 6.6 file name Nero 6.6.0.14.exe &
Nero MIX file name 1.4.0.32

I went on the web site you suggested & they look the same. The problem is
when I click on burn DVD-video in Nero & click on add & go to My Videos file
the file does not show up, if I click on all files in File types at the
bottom of the screen--my movie comes up, but I cannot add it, I get the
message "no compatible file found" Nero does not recognize WMM FILES

What do I do now?

Roxio DVD Creator works great. You can get it pretty cheap.
The caveat is you have to save your file created in moviemaker which takes a
few minutes and then find the file with Roxio.

I have the same problem with some photos coming out blurry...

Did you save your movie?

As I said:

>> First save your project as a movie: use menu File -> "Save MOVIE As", or
>> press key Ctrl-P, or use the "Save to my computer" under "Finish Movie"

Nero does not recognise files of type .MSWMM which are the project files for
Movie Maker. Only movie maker recognise these files.

You need to read the instructions given to you more carefully.

Thank you, Rehan. I finally was able to burn it to a DVD using My DVD in
Sonic Solutions. After 5 hours, I am not sure what I did to accomplish the
task but it worked! I will keep your post to use the next time I try this for
it may be easier than what I actually did. I appreciate your response!
