Hi

I have edited and am going to save the movie on dv-avi quality, my captured
clips are 11.2GB and my finished movie will be 4GB so it will fit on a DVD.
Got a couple of questions though,

Is the original captured footage left as is and the new movie created or is
it replaced with the finished movie.

I understand creating the movie can take a long time, how long should i
expect on the figures quoted (guestimate, i know it will depend on my
system.

If the finished movie was bigger than could fit on a DVD is it possible to
compress it, i plan to use vision express 2 to put it on DVD.

thanks

Gary

Your newly saved movie is a new entity and original is left as is. It sounds
like you tried to trim it to fit on a DVD. You should get about an hour on
DVD at DV-AVI quality (about 13GB). The software compresses it for you.
