I imported a video file and audio mp3, put on the time line and tried to
save my movie, but when I went to save it, the estimated time remaining just
went up into the thousands of minutes with no progress in saving movie.
the finished movie file would have been about 5mb from 7-8. this is movie
maker 2.1 on xp home sp2.
also, movie maker seems to stop responding alot. 512mb ram 36gb free space
on hd...
thanks for the help.

MM does not work well with mp3's or mpeg video, try using avi/wmv.
