InstallShield was interrupted

Any program that uses installShield gives me this Msg:
The wiszard was interruted brfore the program could be completely installed.
I have tried the Windows Install Clean Up tool and it doesent help I have
tried up dating installshield but nothing works!! Im about ready to through
this system out my window!! I cant evan up date my mother board drivers
becaues they use installshield! Any help will be greatly appericted!!!

You must have SP2 installed as this upgrade has called a problem with
InstallShield for some users.

The fix is somewhat involved, but should find this thread helpful.
Especially if you scroll down to the *second* post by IQpierce. The post
begins "I've been in contact with an employee of Microsoft and they've just
found a user fix for this issue."

Good luck as I can see that you are in for a bit of work here.
