I have audio on the camcorder when I replay the video, but it does't work
when I download it to Movie Maker, I have done all the checks advisd to do in
the troubleshoot section, everything seems to be at the right settings, what
could be the problem.

I'm using a Belkin adapter, as the camcorder is anolog it can only be
connected by jack plugs, one cable is white, the other yellow, the picture
quality is good considering it is not digital.
I had trouble with the belkin audio software, when I tried to use its consol
my computer crashed, I found out later it needed extra drivers, I tried
getting these to work, and had more trouble, so I have now only loaded the
adapter not the software, and using the windows movie maker, but with no
audio.

Hi Graham
I have't tried to connect the way you suggested yet, but I checked what I
was using on the capture video, in the Audio box it askes what sound device
am I going to use, the drop down box has a number of choices,:- SiS 7018 Wave
- modem handset and line in record - USB videoBus 2 16k 16 bit Audio - USB
videobus 2, I have been using SiS Wave, I can't use either of the two
videobus audios, with the 16k, windows shuts down, with the other, the
computer re-boots itself, I also had trouble with the videobus software
capture device, so I have uninstalled it.
When I bought the VideoBus it said on the box it was compatable with XP, I
later found I needed add on driver patches, and I am not sure if I installed
them properly
