DVD to VCR

I would like to transfer some scenes from my DVD's to VCR in order to make a
movie in MM2. Can I copy directly from the DVD to my VCR as I do when
copying from one VCR tape to another tape? Thanks a lot.

Providing there is no copy protection on your DVDs, yes.

Cari--Thanks a lot for your reply. I should have mentioned that I am working
with old home movies put onto DVDs. Now this makes it easier for me to make
MM2 movies and retain the original soundtrack. I hadn't really thought about
the copy-protection thing, just being cautious about damaging the DVD or VCR
players. Thanks again.
