hey....


im new to this forum and this is my first post but..........here we
go...

Pro Tools LE <--- music software, doesnt run on XP systems with
service pack 2.... so... i uninstall service pack 2 and have tons of
problems... i format the c: drive, reinstall windows xp home
edition... and now it wont recognize any of my USB devices???? what
is going on here??? my mouse, printer, game pad, MBox... nothing
works....

can anyone please help!!!!! this is putting a huge hamper on my
productivity....


things i have tried...
-cmos shows all usb options are on or enabled
-downloaded latest drivers from intel for my chip set (Dell 4600, 865
chipset)
-spoke with dell support... theyre about as knowledgeable as a
doorknob
-prayed and prayed and prayed (im not even religious) ;)

Go to Start/Run, and type DEVMGMT.MSC , highlight the USB Hub devices, Action menu, "Uninstall", then restart Windows, to find the
device drivers again automatically.
